Origami Cranes
The Japanese crane (tsuru) is a symbol of honor, loyalty and peace, and this whimsical, wonderful gift embodies those sentiments. When these delicate paper cranes catch the breeze, they float and spin gently. Even the most energetic children settle down to watch them "fly." (Safety note: Mobiles are not toys. Please hang where they can be seen, but not touched, by young children.)
The cranes are folded in the traditional manner (the way my grandmother did it), using high-quality papers. Each crane is strung on monofilament, which is knotted beneath with a faceted Czech glass bead. A crystal drop, or a few Swarovski® crystals, are suspended in the design to catch the light. Each mobile has a hand-twisted silver hanging hook at the top. No two mobiles are exactly the same. The large size includes seven cranes of assorted colors, and occupies a space approximately 18 by 24 inches. Your mobile will not be exactly like the one pictured. Cranes are also available in columns (strung on a single line, spaced with beads) and singles, which are ideal for narrow spaces. Single cranes are perfect for hanging in the car! I got the mobile really quickly, it arrived on Thursday. It's absolutely beautiful and my sister and brother-in-law love it... They have hung it above the baby's changing table and apparently he does not cry anymore when he is being changed... So it obviously has some incredible calming qualities, made by a very calm person too I expect!! (Amy, United Kingdom)

About the paper
The papers feature a variety of colors and motifs, such as flowers, fans, and geometric patterns. Also available are a wide variety of solid color papers, as well as some contemporary colors and patterns. I cannot guarantee specific pieces of paper, since my selection is always changing, but I will make every effort to accommodate your request of color combinations.
